COMICS

ive always liked scott pilgrim, it made me start drawing more seriously. i know scott is like an asshole cuz he cheated on knives but his relationship with ramona just feels so different. i wish i had something like that, id totally fight a bunch of exes if it meant i got to date a hot alt bi girl with colored hair

i kinda feel like shes probably something like this. its just the way she carries herself... i feel like shes just different, maybe she likes this sort of thing too

MUSIC

this is the album from them that she had hanging up on a poster in her room. its alright, definitely a good one, but i thought their earlier stuff was a lot better. i like this one the best:

"whatever people say i am, that's what i'm not". this one is my favorite. i feel like once they hit the mainstream they kinda got sucked up into the tumblr girl fake deep stuff. my favorite track on this one is 'mardy bum'. i wonder if she's heard it? if she hasn't ill have to introduce her. if she has, hopefully she liked it. her having the initial poster is a sign shes got some degree of taste, so im just hoping that extends onto being willing to listen and learn if she wants to improve it. actually, here's a whole bunch of albums i like that id wanna show her:

SHOWS & MOVIES

obviously i liked the movie too, even if it was nowhere near as good as the comics. i wish more people would read the comics, but i guess im lucky that it got a decent adaptation. and i did discover the comics through the movie, so it was good for that too. i thought ramona was good but feel like michael cera isnt good looking enough to pull her. idk. not realistic, comic is better.

& obviously this is a classic. to be honest though, i only watched it in the first place because i saw it on netflix and the girl on the front is hot lmao. it was pretty good. i get why a lot of people wouldnt understand it though, cuz it was pretty complicated. the self-reflexivity, unconventional structure, and extensive homage and pastiche definitely make it good i think.

another classic. yeah he's a serial killer, but patrick bateman is so god damn cool. it freaked me out, but some of the stuff he said i kind of related to... im not one of those nutcases that thinks hes the joker or anything but i kinda saw where bateman was coming from. maybe im just kinda weird

people shit on this but its actually fire. hestia is best girl fr. i had a mouse pad of her back in high school when i was living with my mom but she threw it out. sucks cuz i tried to replace it recently but the show isnt as popular now so all the prices went up for the few bits of merch that are still being sold :/

ik i have two anime on here but im not really a weeb or anything. evangelion was also fire though. i watched it in high school because a girl i wanted to start talking to really liked the white haired guy. i still dont really get that part, and i also didnt get all the gay stuff in that one episode, but rei is super hot so it was worth watching to me. 10/10 idk if i would rewatch it though it was kind of weird. great merch at least

GAMES

its not much to look at but i play a lot of tf2 with my friends when we're all available. im a spy main, definitely the coolest character to me. sometimes ill play heavy but never medic, i hate that shit. ill also sometimes play csgo or cod but not really on my own, so i dont really consider them my hobbies even if i technically have a couple thousand hours on both of them. recently ive really been into mobile gacha games and shit. again, not a weeb, but freya from valkyrie connect is top tier.

id kill for her fr. everyone on the subreddit says shes not meta anymore and hasnt been for a while but i dont even care, she stays on my team forever. they did a collab with evangelion (eva collabs with like literally everything but lmao) and i tried to pull rei but i only ended up with like 3 shinjis and one asuka. it was mad annoying cuz i spent a bunch of money on it too. now i feel like i cant stop playing though, cuz i do pay for stuff in game a lot.

MY ART

i drew some of the stuff on this website like the front page and stuff. that stuff is more recent. i dont have a drawing tablet so i just use my mouse and stuff, but im honestly not half bad. in high school (and sometimes at work now) i used to just use a pencil and draw in my notebooks

i made all the assets on here too and theyre probably some of my best stuff. i tried to use blingee because i thought it would go with the background but it turns out that the website doesnt really work anymore. i used ezgif instead.
